Grievance officer
Last updated: 28 October 2026
As India's Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 require, Jamqor has a Grievance Officer who handles complaints from anyone, with or without an account. She is also the person who answers questions about your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
What you can complain about
- A post, comment, profile or message that harms you or breaks the law or our Terms of use.
- Someone pretending to be you, or sharing intimate pictures of you.
- A decision we made about your content or account that you disagree with.
- Your personal data: what we hold, correcting it, or deleting it (see the Privacy policy).
How to complain
- Email grievance@jamqor.com. Once the app is out, its Grievance page does the same and lets you follow your complaint.
- Say what is wrong and what you would like us to do, and add the link or @handle of the post or profile.
- Give an email we can reply to. Your name is optional.
How fast we act
| Complaint | Our deadline |
|---|---|
| Every complaint | Acknowledged within 24 hours |
| Intimate pictures, impersonation or child safety | Acted on within 2 hours |
| Asking to remove unlawful content | Resolved within 36 hours |
| Everything else | Resolved within 7 days |
If you are not satisfied
You can appeal the Grievance Officer's decision to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India, at gac.gov.in, within 30 days. For a complaint about your personal data, you can also go to the Data Protection Board of India.
For anything that is not a complaint, write to help@jamqor.com.
